EARLY FINE-QUALITY GERMAN PERCUSSION DUELING PISTOL BY GOELLNER OF SUHL.

.50-caliber, multi-groove rifled, 9½-inch barrel. Profusely silver inlaid on the barrel with floral motifs and the maker’s name and “In Suhl” in gothic letters. Fine gold inlays on lock with the name “Goellner/In Suhl” inlaid in gold beneath the pan.

Walnut stock. Some light gold inlays on the sideplate, triggerguard and mounts.

Horn fore-end tip and original ramrod.
