PAIR OF FINE BOHEMIAN PERCUSSION DUELLING PISTOLS IN ORIGINAL CARDBOARD BOX, CIRCA 1840.
.50 caliber multi-grooved octagonal 9" Damascus barrels engraved "D. Lassig-Junior". The upper breech tangs are engraved "Saaz". Der Stockel lists this maker as "D. Laessig" with the alternative spelling as "Lassig" with dates of 1840-60. A very gifted maker- his engraving is spectacular. Superb carved walnut stocks. Exceptional condition with nearly all the coin finish.
