Franz von Dreyse de Soemmerda.

He was the son of the famous inventor of the Prussian needle fire rifle M/41 Nikolaus von Dreyse. Franz v. Dreyse was born in 1822 and died in 1894. After the death of his father Nikolaus von Dreyse, Franz took over his father’s factory DREYSE & COLLENBUSCH in 1867. He tried to improve the needle fire rifle and paper cartridges, got three patents but couldn't accept that he was chanceless against the newly introduced Mauser-rifles M/71 and M/71/84 with metal cartridges.

Unfortunately the pictures do not show the system of the gun. So I cannot see whether it is a needle fire or a bolt action system.
