C. Schrage

C. Schrage, Osnabrück, circa 1850. Octagonal eight-groove rifled barrel in 9.5 mm caliber with a patent breechblock.

Dovetailed silver front sight and rear sight adjustable for elevation.

The percussion lock shows decorative floral engraving. "C. SCHRAGE IN OSNABRÜCK" is inlaid in gold on the lockplate.

Walnut stock with fluted grips and finely engraved iron furniture with a slight patina.

Length 40 cm.
