Lowell Arms Co.

Lowell arms pocket in calibre 22 with markings MADE FOR S/W BY LOWELL ARMS, with the ejector and housing.

Normally these later made pockets with ejector are marked with the Rolling white name.

Early in 1863 Lowell made some with ejector house and this was abandoned until 1867 where it was continued with the rolling white marking. This is thus a very early one with ejector housing.

Shows about 80 to 85 % silver on the brass. Metal is dark grey.
