Rare English Three-Barrel Flintlock Tap-Action Box-Lock Pistol with Folding Bayonet, by John Richards, London, c. 1790

2 1/4-inch barrels, the lower-most mounted with triangular-form spring bayonet (1 3/4-inches) marked DL, box-lock action engraved with panoplies-of-arms and inscribed J. RICHARDS LONDON, three-position tap-action lever on left-side, triggerguard actuated bayonet release, half-cock thumb activated safety, checkered bag-shaped grip with small silver oval escutcheon plate.
