Star model 1914.

In addition to subcontracting the production of "Ruby"-type pistols for the French in World War 1, Bonifacio Echeverria (Star) provided the French with a relative small number of this pistol of their own design. The design is said to be inspired by that of the Mannlicher 1905, however, the Star pistols had a detachable magazine and used the common 7.65 Browning ammunition.
