Unique Pair of French Percussion Pocket Pistols Marked Houllier – Blanchard Paris
40 cal., 4 ¼” oct. bbl., bright finish, walnut grips. Matched pair of French percussion pocket pistols marked” ‘FNI PAR HOULLIER – BLANCHARD A PARIS” on the top of the barrel flats. The pistols have octagon rifled barrels with post front sights and high profile rear sights. The pistols have unique “dog leg” locks. The locks, hammers, trigger guard, barrel tangs, and butt caps are decorated with simple scroll engraving. The simple European walnut “dog leg” stocks are not decorated and have the ramrod in the butt.
