Galesi mod 503

The gun presented is a Galesi model 503 B of 1966.

Galesi began the manufacture of the weapons with Collebeato (Brescia) in 1921.

It manufactured patented automatic pistols, rifles and revolvers.

In 1924 it had 25 workmen and a hydro-electric machine of a power of 25 - 30 horses.

The activity was taken again by its sons, including one, Guerrino, built in Brescia a factory for the manufacture of pistols with the name of Rigarmi, still in function today.

The principal activity (with, initially, the name of Galesi F.lli - Galesi brothers and after the name of Armi Galesi - AG and still after IAG - Industria Armi Galesi, addresses via Trento, 10/a - Collebeato - Brescia) was the production in the years 60 - 70 of a series of pistols very pretty to see (Bleah!)

The disassembling of the Galesi pistols (of the first series, i.e. model 5 and 9) can be done with three hands having each one six fingers! It is not too complicated! J
