Sig 210 Sempach.

The battle of Sempach in the locality of the same name in the canton of Lucerne took place on July 9, 1386.

It opposed the Austrian troops ordered by Léopold III of Habsbourg to those of Lucerne which are reinforced by those of the canton of Uri, Schwyz and Unterwald.

The victory of Swiss is regarded as one of the principal battles allowing the Swiss confederation then being born to free itself from the claims from Habsbourg.

To celebrate the 600th birthday of this victory Sig decided to manufacture one 210 commemorative.

This weapon manufactured with 1000 specimens (310001à 310999) will be delivered in a superb box out of wooden accompanied by an engraving representing the famous battle of Sempach.

The completion does without any comment.
