V. Wenzel
V. Wenzel, Znaim (=Znojmo) Czechoslovakia. Octagonal, fluted barrels with patent breeches and smooth bores in 9.5 mm caliber. Dovetailed front sights.
The tops of the barrels bear floral engraving and each has the signature "V. WENZEL ZNAIM" as well as the inscription "1" or "2" respectively in gold.
Percussion locks with engraved and etched floral decoration and more signatures. Beautifully carved walnut half stocks with iron furniture decorated en suite.
Length of each: 42 cm.
In a felt lined wooden case with complete accessories (except for the replacement powder flask). Enameled and golden fittings on the lid with engraved noble coat of arms.
