Radom pistol prototype in .45 for Argentina
This is apparently an exceptional and undoubtedly extremely rare prototype of a Polish Radom VIS 35-style pistol in .45 caliber, which was presented (unsuccessfully) to Argentina in 1937. See the link https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radom_Vis_35
This is the only source that mentions this prototype, without providing a photo. It should be noted in passing that only one known example of the .22 caliber version exists.
It is somewhat curious that Poland presented this device to Argentina, whose army had been equipped with Colt 45 1911 and 1911 A1 pistols for over twenty years at the time... Perhaps the country's army was looking for a newer pistol, while still wanting to keep the .45 caliber. The research team hasn't found anything else so far, but it's already extraordinary to have unearthed the link in question!
It operates in single action with an unseated slide. The magazine capacity is currently unknown.
There are no markings, except for a 3 on the magazine.
