Baby Dog

Here is a very curious five-shot sliding-action pistol, marked Baby Dog on the grips. We also see initials: GM, or CM, or CW from Carl Walther to Zella Mehlis? A Spanish production is also possible.

It bears a (small) resemblance to the CS Shattuck Unique, but with a sliding action, like the Reform pistols.

Our research has so far been unsuccessful in learning more about this rather strange and certainly very rare machine, almost certainly manufactured in the early 20th century (as a reminder, the 6.35 cartridge was created in 1905).

The "quality" of the photos does not allow us to distinguish the presence of possible hallmarks, markings, or numbers.
